Here are a few quick tips in order to ask effective tarot (or other divination tool) questions:
Ask open-ended questions, rather than Yes or No questions. You will get much more information about your question this way. Also, yes/no questions are tricky because wording is so important. For example, when I was in college, I was totally smitten with a certain man and asked if I was going to see him the next morning. I used a pendulum to get my answer, and the answer was yes. I knew I was going to the church he goes to the next morning, and was so excited when I learned I would see him there.
